Gift guide featuring luxury homeware pieces from Bridgman

Can you believe we are almost done with November? This year has gone so crazy fast, I’ve been hanging on by the skin of my teeth, just muddling through and doing my best impersonation of ‘adulting’. When it gets to this time of year I always think to myself that I probably should put together some Christmas content like every other organised blogger does. But then I run out of time and inevitably never do. I’m just so busy at this time of year as all our family birthdays fall between November and January so I struggle to get my own gift ideas together let alone find gifts to inspire you guys in your Christmas present hunting. But I’m going to make a concerted effort to at least put a few gift guides together this year as I’m sure they are helpful as December comes knocking and we’re all starting to panic. So the first guide I’ve worked on features a selection of luxury homeware pieces from Bridgman.

Bridgman has been around for 40 years now and was founded back in 1977 by Peter Bridgman who had the aim of manufacturing quality British furniture. Over the next decade or so Bridgman focused all of its attention on becoming the UKโ€™s leading supplier of luxury garden furniture. Today, it offers a great range of garden furniture, home furniture and accessories that focus on three core values: quality, design and comfort. There are now five showrooms around the country (Enfield, Old Amersham, Walton on Thames, Wilmslow and Winchester).

Today I am presenting you with a selection of carefully chosen products from Bridgman that I think would make great gifts for anyone who loves a bit of luxury homeware.

Georg Jensen Wine & Bar Carafe

1/ First up is this gorgeously stylish wine and bar carafe from Georg Jensen. I’m a big fan of everything Georg Jensen and this classic design by Swiss architect Thomas Sandell is just so timeless. This carafe strikes me as one of those statement pieces that can be brought out for special occasions when friends and family come to visit. With dinner party season fast approaching this could make a great gift for anyone who loves entertaining.

Voyage Maison Ulla Sapphire Cushion

2/ Next up is the Voyage Maison Ulla Sapphire Cushion. I chose this because cushions make great gifts, especially in winter when everyone is focusing on cosying up their homes. This cushion features a distinctive sequin-embroidered design using a deep, mesmerising shade of navy. However, there are other colour options available should you want to avoid the blue. I just picked this one as it’s my favourite colour.Villeroy & Boch Oronda Vase Large Arctic Breeze3/ This white glass vase in arctic breeze comes from Villeroy & Bochโ€™s exquisite Oronda collection. It’s big enough to accommodate a large bouquet and would look great in both traditional or contemporary interiors. You could also fill it up with bare branches or some eucalyptus to give it a more festive vibe.

Voyage Elemental Oceanus Bowl Vase

4/ The Voyage Elemental Oceanus Bowl Vase would make a beautiful gift for anyone who feels a strong connection to the ocean. It features an array of ripples, waves and bubble-like characteristics to create a truly multi-dimensional illusion of real water.

Georg Jensen Helena Teapot with coaster 1.3L

5/ I fell hard for this little beaut as soon as I laid eyes on it. Again a pick from Georg Jensen, the polished stainless steel teapot was designed by Helena Rohner, one of Spainโ€™s most iconic jewellery designers, as part of the Helena collection. It features a porcelain coaster to protect any surface it may be placed on.

Georg Jensen Alfredo Candleholders 3 pack

6/ These Georg Jensen Alfredo Candleholders come in a pack of three. Hand-crafted from stainless-steel they feature the same distinct, sleek lines as seen throughout the entire Alfredo collection. They can also be bought individually.Newbury Lamp Table7/ The Newbury Lamp Table can be used as a simple occasional table or as a bedside table. It’s compact size makes it suitable for even the smallest home and the little drawer will come in handy for storage.

Villeroy & Boch New Wave Caffe Mug

8/ This final piece is the New Wave Caffe Cappuccino Cup from Villeroy & Boch. I’ve always loved the shape of the New Wave collection. It transforms something everyday like crockery into something much more special. The handle on these cups is just so elegant and the shape looks really ergonomic, as long as you don’t have massive hands, of course.

So there you go. I hope I’ve been able to inspire you with this little selection of luxury homeware from Bridgman. If you’re really stuck, I’d say anything from Georg Jensen is a good call.  You can check out the full range of products available from Bridgman and order a catalogue here.
