As it is Halloween today I thought it was only fitting to get into the spirit of things and post something a little bit scary and macabre. I had planned to post a wallpaper as usual but then I spotted these fantastic products by American designer Sylvia Ji so you’ll have to wait until next Wednesday for your wallpaper fix.
Ji is “a master of capturing the dark side of the beautiful and the sublime” and her work is “a visual elixir of life and death, combining sacred symbolism with mystical glamour and opulence”, according to Click For Art, where Ji’s work is currently for sale. Whilst there is something slightly terrifying about the imagery that Ji uses and I wouldn’t necessarily choose these products for my own home, I do find there to be something rather beguiling about them. What do you think? Either way, I would say they are pretty appropriate for Halloween.
