Hello there and thanks for flocking over to my blog! I’m +Stacey Sheppard a freelance writer and blogger currently living and working in Dartmouth in the beautiful rolling hills of Devon in the UK. The Design Sheppard is my online home where I blog about all things interior design-related. From furniture, lighting and flooring to kitchens, bathrooms and wallcoverings, you name it, and I’ll be bleating on about it here.
I first discovered the world of design and architecture whilst working as Staff Writer for a monthly B2B publication called Designer Kitchen & Bathroom magazine. Since that time I have become an avid follower of the design world and I have developed a real passion for residential interior design in particular. I have written for a number of design and interiors publications and websites including Designer Kitchen & Bathroom Magazine, Devon Home Magazine, World Interiors News, Heart Home Magazine, Freshome.com, Achica Living and The Art of Bespoke.
I originally set up The Design Sheppard as a way to round up all the inspirational and innovative projects, products, concepts and design events that I come across whilst conducting research for the articles that I write. Before long there was a whole flock of people just like you who were stopping by to see what design inspiration I would be penning next.
As the blog grew, so did the recognition. Over the years, The Design Sheppard has been consistently ranked as one of the top interior design blogs in the UK by organisations such as Cision, Vuelio and HIBS100. You can see a detailed list of all the places we have featured over on the Press & Mentions page.
I’m always looking for new and exciting content for the blog so if you see something that you think would be a good fit, please do drop me a line. I like to hear from you, so don’t be sheepish!
Whilst I am open to collaborating on posts with brands it must be a good fit for the blog. I do not accept guest posts and nor do I publish infographics so please do not contact me about this. If you are a brand and would like to work with me on a sponsored post or to run a giveaway please get in touch to discuss possible collaborations and request my media kit.
Make sure you come-bye again soon!
