Ever since I first moved out of my parents when I went to uni all those many years ago (thinking about it really is quite frightening) I have had a fair amount of Ikea furniture in my house. As a student, Ikea is obviously a great choice as it’s well made, hard-wearing, and reasonably priced. Then as the years passed and I didn’t get any more wealthy it remained a great place to shop. Whilst I have relied on Ikea for a good few years now, there is one issue that I have with it. So many other people also shop there making it particularly hard to feel like your home is unique. People do tend to recognize Ikea products as soon as they see them and sometimes this is not really what you want.
However, there are plenty of products out there now allowing you to customize your Ikea furniture. One of my favourite products on the market is Pretty Pegs, like shiny new shoes for your Ikea sofas, chairs and beds. Allowing us to add colour, elegance and character to our furniture, Pretty Pegs are produced in Sweden by Jana & Mikael according to Swedish Design Heritage. They’ve won me over that’s for sure! What do you guys think?

A great idea to add a unique and creative twist to your flatpack generalised furniture. Must show this to my sister who loves Ikea!
Not bad!
These are exceptional! Just what I am looking for on current project!
Hi David, glad I could be of help introducing you to Pretty Pegs! Hope the project goes well!
