Appartements Privés is a new range of furniture produced by French company Elitis. Featuring beaten leather with big, glossy, metallic crocodile scales, scratched wood and savannah fur, the collection pays homage to the animal world.
Designed by Philippe Delzers and incorporating bronze sculpted handles and glass cabochons, bronze bases made to look like wood or pineapple effect carved wood, the collection evokes the legends of Africa and long voyages.

To take the African theme one step further, this furniture range can be combined with the new Memoires wallpaper collection also by Elitis.
Inspired by an African safari and the big cats that roam the landscape, the collection features graphic zebra print papers in five different shades, a panther fur inspired paper, wolf skin in aged leather, and a variety of other papers that recall the imagery of African plains.

I’m looking for bright coloured African patterns …. e.g Kanga style.
Very interesting topic , regards for posting .
