Last week I wrote a post about the new rugs from Rugmaker commemorating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Well it seems Rugmaker aren’t the only ones who have decided to pay tribute to the Queen’s 60 years on the throne.
Jan Constantine, the creator of the most amazing hand-embroidered designs for textiles and home accessories, has just launched her new Diamond Jubilee Collection, which features a selection of cushions, lavender bags, banners and tea and coffee cosies.
Celebrating the fact that the Queen is only the second Monarch to have achieved such a long reign – Queen Victoria was the first – the collection brings a real sense of regal patriotism to the home.
As excitement about the Jubilee continues to build and people start to plan their celebratory street parties, picnics and festivals, what better time to invest in some of this gorgeous memorabilia? Afterall, we owe it to the Queen, don’t we?
