The Spring 2016 catalogue from Next landed on my doorstep last week and I was already in love before I even opened it. The front cover features a beautiful image that had me feeling like Spring was on the way. Of course it’s not and we still have a few months of drab and dreary winter to get through yet, but there is no harm in looking forward to the warmer, brighter and more colourful months ahead. Anyway, from the very first page of the catalogue I was mightily impressed. The Studio Collection by Next is a bold and bright interiors range that has a very funky 1970’s vibe about it. It’s full of punchy colours like burnt orange, lime green, yellow and blue, graphic art prints, geometric textiles and wallpaper, tan leathers and sleek walnut effect furniture. What is not to love?

I don’t know about you but for me this is a very cool throw back to the 1970’s but with a modern twist. Whilst it’s a bit too out there for me to consider having in my own home and living with on a daily basis, I still absolutely adore this collection. It is full of energy but also very charming. What do you guys think? Could you see this collection in your home?

I love colours and I love neutral, my whole life is about finding out how to combine my love of crazy colours like all these with my other side that likes minimalist neutral. Thanks for sharing the collection! My colourful side has been inspired again.
Ah Stacy so glad to hear your colourful side has been inspired again! It is a lovely range!
I have just visited the Furniture Show at the NEC and if you like this stuff, you will love the hand made in Hebden Bridge – bold designs from Hannah Gernon (HannahWilliamson.com), luxurious, bright and wow!
Its not what I sell but I really did like it!
Thanks for the tip Edwin. I’ll be sure to check it out!
I absolutely love all of these pieces, they remind me of the Orla Kiely patterns which I love as well!
Definitely agree with that Jo!
