In a recent post about the trend towards knitting in interiors I featured some great furniture, flooring and lighting. Since that post I have come across quite a few more knitted homewares like the hand-crafted wool rugs and poufs by Gandia Blasco and this amazing wallpaper by Surface View, which takes the knitting trend to whole other level.

Created by award-winning, London-based contemporary Korean artist Chae Young Kim, the Knitted Room collection pushed the boundaries of digital textile design. The fine details on these designs give the impression that they have been photographed or hand drawn. In fact, Kim creates such fine lines digitally using 2D vector graphics. The computer software and digital printing process facilitates incredibly fine detailing, allowing the designer to reinterpret the warmth of knitted threads onto the surface of the materials.
