Earlier this year Trove launched a new range of wallpaper as part of its Spring 2012 Collection. Chroma is inspired by various scientific elements and processes and looks like a strand of DNA. However the pattern was created using photographs of people in motion on the street of New York City. The photographs have been manipulated to such an extent that the image becomes a mere flash of colour, a blur that has lost all of its detail and its identity and the human form become unrecognisable.
The concept of transforming an image of a person into a representation of DNA or Life is the idea behind Chroma and I think it is not only an interesting one and a really clever one but also a really pretty one. What do you guys reckon?
