Academy Award-winning stage and costume designer Cecil Beaton was renowned for dressing the stars of the stage and screen with originality and flair. Now, his signature style can be brought into our homes, thanks to Cecil Beaton Fabrics, allowing us to clad our walls with his timeless creations.
The ‘Sketchbook’ collection of fabrics and wallpapers is largely inspired by Beaton’s fashion sketches from his 1954 book The Glass of Fashion, made available through the National Portrait Gallery, London. The ‘Original’ collection features brush drawn florals on silk, linen, cotton and wide-width wallpaper. Both these collections bring a touch of fine art and couture fashion into the home.

so fun, Stacey, I love how whimsical this is! You are such a great resource, thanks for sharing!
Wow, how gorgeous is this; what I call a scoop! I love the National Portrait Gallery, their gift and book shops are heaven, so I’m not surprised they are the instigitors of this idea! :-)
