I have to be honest here, bedding has never been something that I have invested heavily in. This is stupid I know, as we spend such a large part of our lives in bed. Surely then it’s common sense that a good quality bed and great bedding should be right up there on our priority list? Well this is something that I’m hoping to change as soon as I can afford to get some proper, good quality, grown up bedding. So when I saw this divine linen bedding from LinenMe, it went straight on my Lust List.
The latest collection from LinenMe is exclusively designed by Lithuanian-born interior designer Inga Lukauskiene. Now based in the UK, Inga was born into a family that was involved in manufacturing linen textiles in Lithuania, and she says her love for linen must be in her blood. And I must say, it really shows! The collection, which is available in six new muted colourways, exudes natural style and oozes comfort. The elegant stonewashed linen also is ethically produced and manufactured which is always a bonus in my book. I wouldn’t have expected this from linen, but the material can actually be machine-washed and tumble-dried and it even becomes softer and more supple the more frequently it is laundered. Good news huh? And an added advantage is that the natural properties of linen allow the bedding to breath, which helps to regulate the body’s temperature give us a restful night’s sleep. Maybe if I could get my hands on this bedding I could finally get a good night’s sleep? But it wouldn’t stop Matylda waking up for feeds through the night or waking up at 5am, so I guess maybe not!
What say you folks? Is this on your Lust List too?
