If you didn’t know already, Brabantia is one of my favourite home interior brands. I’ve featured its products here on the blog many times before when I wrote about the Get Together Range, The Union Jack Bin, The Pop Kitchen Bin and The Geometric Ironing Boards. In fact, it is probably the one company that has featured most since I started the blog back in 2009. And during that time I have witnessed the development of Brabantia as it has grown as a brand and I must say I have been very impressed with what I have seen. It has gone from being a trusted and loved brand selling practical solutions for waste management, laundry care, food enjoyment and bathroom accessories to a global interior design brand that brings exciting and stylish design to kitchens, bathrooms and homeware.
I first became aware of Brabantia when I discovered the dustbins that the company is perhaps most well known for. But the range extends far beyond those ubiquitous bins to include a wide variety of products that are so well designed and durable that they really do last a lifetime.
At the end of last week, Brabantia announced the launch of ‘Designed for living’ – a new range of products designed to surprise consumers and to make daily chores a pleasure – marking a real turning point in the company’s 95 year evolution. Now consumers can expect a new look and feel including a stylish redesigned logo, attractive lifestyle photography, contemporary colour palettes and lovely details. I am so excited to hear this news and I really can’t wait to see what Brabantia will bring out next! Those stackable glass jars are already on my lust list. What about you?
